NK cell harvests

The tryptophan-depleting enzyme indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) is critical for the regulation of immunotolerance and plays an important role in immune-associated skin diseases. Tregs are depleted in warts and NK cells have an altered phenotype. Children who later develop T1D have a higher incidence of childhood plantar and palmar warts

Can a lab partner with dermatologists to collect human wart tissue from T1D patients as well as those with 1 and 2 biomarkers for the disease. Then,  examine and characterize the immune milieu present within these samples and ultimately compare to the environment found in nPOD samples from the same types of patients.
