    Members of the(sugar)science community are welcome to post and comment on papers posted here in the Journal Club. At the end of each week we will will post the paper deemed “most interesting” according to those with the most traffic and commentary.

    This paper, Deciphering the Complex Communication Networks That Orchestrate Pancreatic Islet Function by Weitz etal (UMiami) Diabetes Volume 70, January 2021, paints the big picture of the microenvironment of pancreatic islets, and why it’s critically important!
